Why colours, honestly
Research does not support the idea that your favourite colour reveals your personality. What it does support: people across cultures link colours with similar feelings. So we use colour as a clear label for each Big Five trait, and we say so.
The test itself is the public-domain IPIP-50, with published reliability and a public norm sample. The colour is the memorable part; the score is the honest one.
What this test is not
- Not a clinical assessment.
- Not for hiring decisions.
- Not a fixed label: traits shift over years.
